I am currently a K-8 art teacher at Martha Washington Elementary. Each year I aim to introduce my students to as many different medium, artists and movements as possible. In addition to having students make art I seek to get them to problem solve and think critically about their own art and that of their class mates. I want them to see how art can be used to better their lives and make their voices heard. I studied at Messiah College where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education k-12. There I concentrated in craft and became passionate about textile art/ costume making.
