One Point Perspective City
Students began learning how to draw in perspective with an ant's eye view drawing of the city. Students looked at different photos of the city from and ants eye view and then lowered them selves to the ground to get some perspective. Students started this drawing with a vanishing point and used a ruler to draw the diagonal lines out from this point to make the sides of the buildings. The hardest part was drawing the horizontal and vertical lines all parallel to one another to make the floors. The final part was deciding how much sky to show and what color to make it.
One Point Perspective Rooms
Students applied their skills in drawing building in one point perspective to drawing the inside of a room in one point perspective.
